We had the first teacher interview of our project. First of all, Sema Karakelleoğlu, one of our project founders, made brief explanations about our project plan draft. We then asked our partners to submit their ideas for elaborations. We received the ideas and contributions of our partners in the Twinspace chatroom.
According to the decisions we take;
- The project logo works will be completed by November 30 and will be submitted to voting until December 3.
- A student meeting will be held on 30 November.
- Tail periods of schools in different countries will be taken into account in the planning of activities.
- In case of any problems with the pandemic, some activities in the project plan will be reviewed and eliminations will be made if necessary.
We planned a project in which we will try to enable our students to discover the place of mathematics in science, technology, engineering and art and to produce products in this direction.
The aim of our project is to enable our students to learn about the use of mathematics and geometry in the fields of science-technology-engineering and art, to create products using web tools, to develop responsibility, critical thinking and collaboration skills, and to have an idea about sustainable building designs for a better future ..
The primary goals of our project are to improve our students' communication with students from both our country and foreign countries, to gain mathematical literacy skills, to increase their sensitivity to the environment, and to work with students from different cultures to produce common products through the meetings and activities we will hold throughout our project.
Our project is planned to start in November 2021 and end in April 2022.
In November, studies such as introducing the project, introducing the project, creating the project plan will be carried out.
In December, they will conduct research on sustainable structures. They will conduct research on interesting and unusual information about mathematics and share them with each other.
In January, they will learn to use Tinkercad and start preparing their own designs.
In February, they will examine the relationship between mathematics and art and work on line designs with Geogebra.
In March, .project exhibition preparations will be made and the works made during the project will be exhibited in schools.
Project evaluations will be made in April and the project will be closed.
In this process, our students will recognize different geometric objects. They will explore the place of geometry in ancient and modern architecture and make comparisons. They will research how sustainable energy sources and architecture can be combined and make inferences. They will use computer technologies more effectively and consciously. They will learn to use tools like Geogebra Tinkercad and make their own designs. They will gain the ability to use a foreign language effectively and to communicate correctly.
Neat polyhedron designs
We make neat polyhedral designs with our group. We have so much fun doing it. I'll add it here when finished, stay with us...😘😘 ÇAĞR...
